Marjorie Taylor Greene has been suspended from Twitter. And predictably, we’re hearing the same speech from the right that we always get: leftists, we are told, are dangerously apathetic about the extraordinary powers of censorship and surveillance concentrating in Silicon Valley. Indifferent, or even approving, because we want reactionaries to be crushed by big tech. And from here, we get endless lectures about how the left has become short-sighted and unprincipled in its “tribal” opposition to reactionaries, and inevitable snickering about poetic justice whenever SV surveils or silences someone on the left.

The right, meanwhile, has taken a principled stand against the “corporate power” of big tech. Right?
