Ukrainians overwhelmingly oppose foreign control of reconstruction
Will the Americans who stand with Ukrainians in war stand with them in peace?
Popular support in the United States for arming Ukraine against Russia’s invasion is ordinarily voiced as a defense of independence, freedom, territorial sovereignty, and so on. A new poll from IRI, however, affirms that any American who “stands with Ukrainians” has another fight on their hands: a fight against international capital hoping to impose their shock doctrine on the entire country.
