A new paper in Nature has surveyed international climate policymakers on the growth vs. degrowth debate, and its findings clarify a political dimension to this question that’s often neglected in the discourse. Authors Lewis King, Ivan Savin and Stefan Drews group respondents by their residence in multiple economic blocs like North America, the EU, and BRICS — but to simplify matters, I’ve divided them between nations in and outside of the OECD.
